Question 1

Is Nutze really free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The platform is completely free for both renters and owners – searching, listing, chatting and renting included. Nutze charges neither a base fee nor a commission.

Question 2

Does Nutze take a cut of the rent?

Accepted Answer

No. The renter pays the rent directly to the owner, and Nutze keeps none of it. Renters pay no service fee either.

Question 3

Is a deposit required?

Accepted Answer

No. The owner can set a deposit per listing; it is then shown in the listing. You hand it over in cash at the handover and get it back at the return if everything is in order.

Question 4

When do I pay as a renter?

Accepted Answer

At the handover, directly to the owner. Nothing is charged or reserved beforehand – and don't pay anything in advance yourself either.

Question 5

Which payment methods are available?

Accepted Answer

You agree on that directly with each other; most people pay in cash at the handover. No payment runs through Nutze itself.
